Dan | Owner
Dan wants to live in a world where there are fewer to-do lists and more time for outdoor activities.
As the owner of Urban Edge Homes, Dan is the human embodiment of “chill.” Whether he’s out on the golf course sinking putts or casually tossing up a two-by-four, everything Dan does seems effortless. But trust us, it’s not as easy as he makes it look. He’s a guy who’s liked by everyone, never met a stranger, and can turn a construction project into a smooth Sunday drive. He could build a house with one hand tied behind his back and still have time to watch the game. Easygoing? Absolutely. Talented? You bet. Legendary? You’re about to find out.
When he’s not figuring out creative ways to achieve a client’s perfect home, you can find him on the golf course, coaching his kids’ sports, or playing pickleball. He loves to compete in all things…even if it’s against only himself.
His favorite part of working at Urban Edge is getting to work with the great team and seeing the finished product on every project, knowing every detail was carefully thought out and considered.
Roxanne | Director of Operations
Roxanne wants to live in a world where to-do lists are always completed at the end of every day, eating pasta helps you lose weight, and she could understand all the words her teenager was using so she could be “cool” … “sick” … “drippy” too.
As a Director of Business Operations, she’s the integrator who keeps the cogs turning. As Ben would say, “It’s never good when Roxanne starts tapping her pen in a meeting.” When she’s not creating spreadsheets and sending Dan reminders, you can find her spending time with her family, walking her dogs, or drinking coffee and rewatching her favorite comedies on repeat.
Her favorite part about working at Urban Edge is working closely with her husband Dan and the awesome team. It’s such a great part of their life together and makes each project a blast.

Jon | Co-Owner
Jon | Co-Owner
Jon wants to live in a world where he would kick off every morning with a scalding cup of coffee and a box of donuts while fishing on a pristine Canadian lake with friends and family. He’d never lose any lures, the fish would never stop biting, and at the end of the day an ice-cold beer would be waiting for him at the dock.
As one of the owners, an UE team member nicknamed Jon “Thinker of Deep Thoughts” because his mind is constantly churning with ideas. Jon works on managing accounting, finances, and strategic planning (Don’t ask him to trim. Mitered corners are not his specialty). Jon thrives on new business challenges and has never met a business idea he didn’t fall in love with.
When not working, he enjoys all things outdoors, particularly adventures outdoors with his two daughters and his wife.
Working with a passionate, exciting, and engaged team is what Jon enjoys most about working with UE. The team’s youthful and fun energy is what makes life sweeter in such a challenging industry.
Dave | Founder
Dave wants to live in a world where every morning starts with a great breakfast at a café where everyone knows each other’s names, there is more peace and harmony, and there are less “honey-do” lists.
At Urban Edge, Dave is known as “Grandpa Dave” to both our team and our clients. With 50 years of experience, there’s nothing Dave doesn’t know how to do.
When he’s not on a job site, Dave loves to spend time outdoors fishing, barbecuing with family and friends, and learning how to play golf.
His favorite part of working at Urban Edge is working alongside his family (Dan, Roxanne, and Kate) and keeping all of our clients happy.
Eric | Project Manager
Eric wants to live in a world where a Minnesota sports team wins the championship every year, people are less critical, and there’s more laughter.
As a versatile project manager, licensed Realtor, and problem-solver extraordinaire, he’s always creating a schedule, nerding-out over Buildertrend, or being the warranty whisperer. He’s the guy who makes projects hum, ensures quality shines, and keeps service levels sky-high.
When he’s not scouting future projects with Dan or tackling the unexpected, you’ll find him cheering (maybe a bit too loudly) for Minnesota sports, hitting the trails, or playing ball outside. Eric’s world revolves around his wife Jacqueline and their two MVPs, daughter Gloria and son Bolton.
His favorite part of working at Urban Edge is getting to work with friends in a family-like atmosphere where everyone shares similar values and where top-notch craftsmanship meets unbeatable care, every single time.
Kate | Interior Designer
Kate wants to live in a world where design and creativity take priority, the majority of her days are spent outdoors, and everyone ALWAYS implements the right solution…not the easy solution.
As an interior designer, Kate is the client’s first point of contact, the “idea girl,” and decision maker for all things visual.
When she’s not working with clients, you can find her spending time with her family (can you say, Mom Mobile?!), working on her personal home projects (she’s never not designing), and enjoying time outdoors.
Her favorite part of working at Urban Edge is having a team to collaborate with, meeting new clients, solving design problems, and working with family (Dan, Roxanne, and Dave).
Greg | Job Supervisor
Greg wants to live in a world where there are more hours and days in a week, but also where there are not more hours and days in a week (it makes sense to him). Also, where everyone is the ideal team player: humble, driven and smart.
As a Job Supervisor, he manages daily operations of multiple projects from start to finish. While communicating with trade partners, vendors, team members and clients, he ensures that projects are within budget, on time, and meeting the quality standards that Urban Edge upholds.
When he’s not on the job, you can find him watching his three kids in their sporting activities, going up to the family cabin, and playing any kind of sport. If he can hit or chase a ball, he’s in his happy place. Because of this and his lovable, loyal, and honest nature, his nickname around the office is “Golden Retriever.”
His favorite part of working at Urban Edge is working with a team that has a like-minded demeanor, drive and dedication, approaching every project with a shared commitment to high-quality standards, communication, and getting the job done right.
Ben | Job Supervisor
Ben wants to live in a world where every miter cut fits perfectly with no gaps and his children’s cars start and run correctly every time.
As a Job Supervisor, Ben manages all aspects of a project from foundation to roof. He manages subcontractors throughout the project, focusing on correct and quality completion of their specific scope of work.
When he’s not on the job site, he’s spending time hunting and camping with his wife and 9 kids, pastoring a small church in Scandia, MN, and lake surfing and waterskiing.
His favorite part of working at Urban Edge is seeing all aspects of a quality home being built and the 100,000 seemingly random pieces of material fitting together in a perfectly beautiful way.
John | Project Manager
John would love to live in a world that allows you to drive in the left lane slowly holding up traffic, to eat pasta for breakfast, where people embrace the nicknames thoughtfully given by him, and where everyone would realize their dreams are in front of them.
As Project Manager, he works closely with team members on budgets and schedules to create the best value and experience for clients and expand the vendor base striving to join and enhance our team. He strives to be a mentor, but says he’s also learning himself because knowledge is ongoing.
When he’s not managing projects, he enjoys relaxing on a deck with family and friends overlooking a body of water, telling stories, traveling the country rating wings and pizza with his 100-plus followers, hitting sporting events on road trips, and bike riding with his e-bike up steep hills.
He enjoys working with the great Urban Edge team because we all are focused on looking at each problem as an opportunity for creating a solution and knowing each day we gave it our best effort as a team.
Kamryn | Design Assistant
Kamryn wants to live in a world where picking your breakfast is as easy as pressing snooze. She’s a firm believer that life would be a little brighter if more people embraced harmless, hilarious pranks. And her ultimate dream? A world where everyone’s just a little bit more down to chit-chat.
As a Design Assistant, she supports the design process by selecting materials and creating detailed drawings, along with high-quality 3D models and renderings that bring each concept to life.
When she isn’t creating tile elevations or picking up samples, she’s tending to her personal jungle of plants, managing multiple fish tanks, and doting on her bearded dragon Lorenzo, who may or may not be the true king of the house. And if there’s a board game in sight, fair warning: Kamryn will win (but her friends might not agree with that statement).
One of Kamryn’s favorite aspects of working at Urban Edge is collaborating with Kate. Together, they make a highly effective team with Kate’s creative vision driving the projects forward, and Kamryn’s organizational skills ensuring that everything stays on course. Under Kate’s mentorship, Kamryn continues to develop her skills and gain valuable insights that contribute to her growth as a designer.
Andrea | Accountant
Andrea would love to live in a world where slow living isn’t a trend, but a way of being, where kids run barefoot through the garden, and time is measured in seasons, not schedules.
As the accountant, she handles all aspects of our financial reporting and accounting operations with clarity and care. She also works to bring ease and efficiency to our systems, always looking for better ways of doing things that support both our team and our mission.
When she’s not crunching numbers, she enjoys slowing down and savoring the simple moments including morning light, quiet coffee, and the sound of chickens in the yard. She loves spending intentional, unhurried time with her husband and kids.
Her favorite part of Urban Edge is that it’s not just about homes, it’s about heart. Urban Edge builds spaces that are thoughtful, grounded, and connected to the land and the people who live on it. She is proud to be part of a team that values quality over quantity, community over convention, and doing things with intention every step of the way.
